A1 Kids is a small privately owned childcare centre where
children 2-6 years of age feel cared for and where families
can feel relaxed, supported, and involved. Being a small
centre, we assure your child gets the attention and care they
need to develop and grow to their fullest potential.

Located just minutes away from the town centre on George
Street, we are open from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday
to Friday and offer full as well as sessional care for all
children. We have qualified, dedicated and experiences
staff who provide a holistic environment for children to
learn and grow.

Some highlights of our services include:

Free 30 hours for children 3 to 6 years of age- we provide FREE 30 hours for children 3 to 6 year old. These sessions are from 9 am to 3 pm. Monday to Friday.

Free 25 hours for children 2 to 3 years of age- we provide free half day sessions for children 2 to 3 years of age. These sessions are 7.30 am to 12.30 pm or 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Full Day Care :
For Old Toddlers (2-3 years old)
The transitional stages between toddlerhood and preschool provides a wide variety of age-appropriate activities, within a routine that provides consistency and predictability and draws from areas of practical and real life experiences. We provide a nurturing, flexible, and calm atmosphere where affection is freely given, self-concept is enhanced, independence is encouraged and expectations are made clear. We encourage social development through cooperative play.
Activities: Art, music and movement, large muscle, early literacy, dramatic play, yoga, and ample opportunities for outdoor play.
Full Day Care:
For Pre K (3-5 years old)
Children in our Pre-K program focus on kindergarten readiness skills, such as counting, reading and writing their name, gaining spacial and body awareness, and developing their social and emotional competence. As their independence grows, they are encouraged to explore the world around them through ongoing investigations of interest-based topics. They form strong friendships that flourish with their exponentially growing social skills and cultivate a love of learning.
Activities: Early literacy, STEAM activities (science, technology, engineering, art and math), daily opportunities for outdoor play, social and emotional skill development.
